Gold Team members are typically high-school-aged fencers or older with some experience, who compete in local, regional, or national tournaments.  In 2007, the Windy City Gold Team has 9 USFA rated fencers, including 1 A, 2 Bs, and 3 Cs.

Gold Team members have group practices four times each week, and, as part of their team membership, receive 1-2 short private lessons each week.

Silver team members are typically 10-14 years old, and compete in some local or regional (and, depending on interest, national) tournaments.

Silver Team members practice three times a week, and team membership comes with 1 short private lesson each week.

Bronze team fencers, typically 8-10 years old, are students who wish to have more than one practice each week.  Some Bronze team members compete in local tournaments.
