The 2007 USFA Summer Nationals were held June 30-July 8, in Miami Beach, Florida.  Windy City Fencing - Chicago had a great tournament, and wishes congratulations to all fencers who participated.

Some of the highlights of the tournament were:

     º 22 Windy City Fencers qualified for the Nationals and participated in individual and team events.

     º Windy City Fencers earned 5 top-ten finishes:

    º Harrison MacRae (10th Y10 Mens Epee)

    º Samantha Perry (8th Y10 Womens Epee)

    º Dante LaVia (10th Y12 Mens Epee)

    º Mason Speta (1st Y12 Womens Epee)

    º Shannon Kimball, Lydia Kopecky, Jackie Swietochowski, and Ani Zotti (8th, Junion Womens Team Epee)

     º Henry Reed, Nabil Salem, Albert Starshak, and Michael Zook won 16th place in Mens Senior Team Epee
